I was curious in attempting to make enhanced leaf, what is the necessity of pure solvents. I've read of people using less than 99% pure ISA and Acetone, but was wondering your thoughts in my first attempt at doing this, is the purest form solvent necessary for creating enhanced leaf?

lower % of ipa are just diluted with water.
takes longer to evap, and effects solubility, but there is no real problem in using them

What about methanol? I've so much of it, just letting it evap long enough would make it safe?

enchanted leaf made with methanol is safe to smoke so long as all the methanol has evaporated.... give it a bit longer than you would wiht acetone or iso just to be on the safe side. don't breathe it in its poisonous

as long as there are no additives, alcohol (all kinds) and acetone will evaporate completely.
