HI TO ALL  i just joined so i first would like to say hello to all. im about to order my supplies for my dmt extract however i dont want to use zipo lighter fluid or similar. i want to use N-Hexane is this the best chemical to use? i was thinking to use acetone after to clean and residue after would this be best way?

can any one help me please? i am able to get hold of pretty much any chemical but need some of your help the best and safest way to do this. i can not seem to find naphtha in the uk labeled as that any way. i do have naphtha (petroleum)
hydrotreated, heavy (EC 265-150-3) i have tested this and its evaporation is very slow and burns with black smoke not good? However i have heard that the heavy is better for pulling out the DMT? any advice will be much appreciated?

Acetone for clean up, how? Acetone dissolves dmt and all the impurities, unless you use FASA method. Read the FAQ please.
i would not advice using heavy naphtha, it's a pain in the ass to work with it, and can taint your final product with traces.
Hexane should work perfectly fine, if you can find it.

if you can get the dmt free base to dissolve in warm hexane, freeze precipitate it. hexane is one of the best solvents for recrystallization. I prefer it over heptane because of its lower b.p. "Nothing is true, everything is permitted." ~ hassan i sabbah

hi thanks all for the replies very much appreciated. i have now ordered hexane which should be here next few days i will keep your all posted with some pictures hopefully all goes well. i must say i am little worried doing it for my first time however i have tried to prepare my self for many weeks. would it be ok to do it on my own for first time? smoking it this is, or to have a sitter? and thanks again for the replies  stoj attached the following image(s):  .jpg,.JPG (2,078kb) downloaded 114 time(s).

hi, all thought i would update, this is what a managed to pull from 2 extractions.
using hexane
tried 30mg last night using a plastic bong with foil with dmt on top of some ashes, didnt seem to harsh,
took 2 hits and held it in,
what happend?
ok i had real heaveness on my hole body and funny vibrating feelin, no real blast off but i had some really weird pictures in the mirror that was in front of me the mirror started to bend and vibrate then it was like lots of images of faces? i think they were there was so many faces.
i was relaxed but when i shut my eyes not much happend?
?
any thoughts does my spice look ok ?
i weighed on some scales 0.030g but not sure if i took enough?
how to eyeball enough dmt?
