Hi!

My apologies everyone, I would have posted this in the A/B extraction area, but I cannot since I am too new.

I've read a lot of posts about acacia confusa extractions, and I am looking to try my first one soon. I plan on using joshisom's tek from the "yours truly" post as he seems to have a really good grasp with great results. Of course, I am not necessarily expecting to get 20g with 1kg of bark (though that would be awesome!).

If you don't mind, I have a couple of questions for you all, since most of you have experience and know-how that I do not(!):

1) Is there any advice (that isn't already in the joshisom tek) with an A.Confusa extraction that you can give me considering I have never done it.

2) Are there any pitfalls or common mistakes that I may be inclined to make since I don't have previous experience?

3) Do you know if there is any time frame that the bark must be used in an extraction before it may lower the potential yield? For instance, I have the bark, but there is a chance I may need to wait about 1 month before I can try to extract. Is that bad or does it matter at all?

4) This is not a question really, but since many of you have had success with extractions, I'd enjoy any helpful information any of you would be willing to throw my way.

I know there are similar threads here, but I would especially appreciate a thread specifically designated towards best approaches, advice, tools, information, etc., directly aimed at Acacia Confusa.
