I'm just curious from person to person, how long does 1 gram of dmt usually last you? This being smoked dmt without an MAOI. I haven't tried it yet so I'm just wondering

In the past, when I had gone from having 0 DMT to an overabundance of DMT, I definitely overused, using nearly a gram in a week. Lately though, it's been more like a gram over 2 months or so.
I think for some it would be far longer than that as well.
Having said that, I am big fan of MAOI + DMT.

My first few extractions, we burnt through over a gram within 3 or so days.
Now, I would say we are definitely more conservative with the spice. It lasts a lot longer now.

Amount of use and efficiency of vaporization alters so much be hard to judge anything overall from peoples estimates of how long a gram lasts them.

For me that's about 40 doses and no way in hell I'll use that in a month let alone a week. Would be more like 6 months worth. Like others though first gram went fast because of waste when poorly vaporized.

Echo the comments on using a whole lot more at first due to poor technique.

Due to having teenage children set and setting are an issue! A gram will now last me year.

I do now gain a lot of pleasure from extracting and messing around with different solvents though.

I'm new to psychedelics, and in general rather cautious with them. For me, being inefficient with DMT is one of the great boons of the drug, because its easy to experiment. I've only ever had enough DMT to do this once, but one of the best trips I've had I've toked multiple times on some enhanced leaf. I know that DMT w/o MAOI gets rapidly less efficient, but there is nothing like being able to say, "ok, I'm handling this ok, lets go deeper."

On that particular trip my pipe started looking like a snake after the third toke. I threw up (despite not using an MAOI and having fasted for ever), and then I went into preliminary hyperspace and saw pinks and love and a general desire to go home, which was exactly what I was doing and needed to hear at the time. If I wasn't so comfortable at that point perhaps my trip would have been darker....

No idea how much DMT that was but I'm sure that a veteran would have been able to enter into full hyperspace using half of what I did; I'm sure I'll do the same later on. For now I want lots of DMT just so I can be comfortable.

Its amazing how paradoxical DMT can be. Veterans use less; novices use more. With other drugs that usually isn't the case.

Id say a gram would last me 8-10 years, as i don't partake nearly as much as i used to. Roughly 3-4 times a year. Not mediocre journeys though, as i go for broke.

my first gram lasted me almost a year i think. Although multiple people dosed off it. 20 mg was the most common dose. I shudder when I hear people talk of going through a gram in a week or a day. Thats such a waste.

My first gram lasted for about a year (bit less i guess).

Use rate has gone up a little, since i have enough from my own extraction.

But it varies from time to time , if the weather is all shitty and my mind is occupied with other stuff i vape maybe once every 2 months ,

And if all is well i do several travels in one weekend.

6 months easily, but that was trepidation often, and effecient vaporization.

Depends on how generous I'm feeling at the time, I give quite a lot away. But me personally I'd say 2-3 months.

Yup. Im having issues with this at the moment, however, that I will post on soon, regarding the lack of respect the molecule is treated with by a lot of people who I thought would be very respectful. Folks who laugh and say wow, I got f***cked up and nothing more. bad judge of character I am maybe, IDK.
But yeah not long to a hell of a long time depending on how many partakers there are.
