why was my yield so low? Options

I am on my phone so I will keep this brief.

I used 2 quart jars using noman's tek. 50 grams of bark/lye in each jar with distilled water. I didn't add extra water on account of the bark being finely powdered, there wasn't enough room in the jars. I let the jars sit for 2 days and pulled last night. I combined the Naphtha of both jars at around 7 pm and let it precipitate in the freezer until 1 pm today. I yielded about 100 milligrams.
It's ALL information.

I haven't done my extraction yet, so take what I say with a grain of salt, but...
You may have rushed it a bit! Just my thoughts.
I'm also on my phone at this time, sorry to be brief!

I'll be brief too...I'm on a tablet.
What kind of bark?

it was powdered MHRB from a vendor in holland. I only pulled the top 80% of the naptha cause I was afraid of pulling undesirables. perhaps all the spice sits at the bottom of the solution...

You did mix the two together didn't you?
The naphtha must 'touch' every part of the mix. It doesn't act like a magnet, drawing the molecule up from the bottom of the mix.
Transference is fairly rapid...but only on contact.

I don't know if this will help you..
But for me, I see higher pulls (even on 6'th or 7'th go..) if I let it sit outside in the sun for the day, mixing (light shaking) every hour or whenever I'm around it outside. Freeze it when it starts cooling down outside, and the rest in the morning.

roll the jars constantly for 5 minutes. flip it. roll it. spin it. swirl it. toss it in the air and catch it. (if you wont dropit haha).

Let it separate.

Repeat this like 4 times.

Do at least 6 pulls.

I usually get over 1.2g from 50g bark

*with salt ( cyb Very happy )

okay, this was my first attempt at my first pull ever in my life. so was a yield like this to be expected and I just need to keep going at it until the 6th or 7th pull?
It's ALL information.

If I dreamt I was you I would do the following

Add a teaspoon or 2 of salt, agitate (shake it/roll til its dissolved)

Add a tablespoon of base (just in case you lost any on first pull / and/or didn't add enough to start with), agitate

Do a pull with naptha and do the whole process I explained in previous post

Evap the pull til about half is left

Stick in the freezer for 2 days

Decant naptha, put lid back on and seal it (or put it on a plate upside down) leave it UPSIDE DOWN in fridge for 2 - 3 hours to allow excess naptha to run off

{The fridge move is to allow it to slowly come to room temp otherwise it will all melt and disappear}

Then just take it out and leave to dry til the naptha smell is gone.

If you got a good amount, do 4 or 5 more pulls, combine them all, evap halfway, freeze etc.

Good luck!

Also remember to release pressure during the mixing phase every 30 seconds or so by quickly unscrewing the lid and tightening again. No need to take it off tho.

And when transferring from freezer to decant and put in fridge upside down, be sure to do it quick as possible
