Hi there,

I am new here so sorry if I posted in wrong place. I've just bought 60 g of dried Peruvian Torch and I noticed that there is a bit of waxy skin there. What I should do if I want to prepare tea? Should I grind it all and boil or try to remove somehow these pieces?

Thanks in advance for reply

Hello there. You have a few options. Either way, try to remove the waxy layer. It does you no good but makes it harder to boil out the alkaloids. You can boil the fleshy green skin layers for 3 hours/3 times adding new water each time and reduce it down to about 50-100ml and drink as a tea.

Or

You can follow a full extraction tek, ending up with a resin or a crystal.
