last night was the most intensely psychedelic amazing awe inspiring emotionaly changing point of my life, Now I understand..
last night deep in a changa session I felt my head open up, as if doors on a car closest I could describe it, but with this intense feeling I felt a clarity and soo many things fell in to place.
one thing that came in to mind was how I dissociated myself from nature and plants and animals, I want to try to eat less meat and more vegetables that either I or some human grows with hands shovels and shears, unfortunately where I live a garden is highly impractical but I did go buy a tomato plant and a strawberry plant to help me associate myself with these amazing symbiotic cteatures we call plants.
other than a few pathetic weed plants grown in closets and quite a bit of knowledge on cultivation of cubensis mushrooms and a few cacti that grow themselves basically, I don't know much more than watering is necessary.
I live in a desert area with very little rain and intense bright sun, the lady I purchased the tomato and strawberry plants from suggested placing them somewhere where they will be shaded by the mid day sun, wich was a shock to me ,I would have thought that the intense light would have been amazing.
anyway, sorry about rambling, my question is: does anyone know a good resource for explaining the growing process and parameters needed to grow a healthy happy mimosa hostilis tree or 2.
my plan (if possible) is to, once germinated, place in a 15 gal or possibly larger pot (if I can find a nice one) and water it sparingly to limit growth, or do you think the pot would limit the tree size temporarily? would the desert sun and air be too much to even consider this? I would like to grow it in the pot for a few years, as my cousin is buying a house in a few years and I think it would make an amazing house warming gift.
