Good day community, I received from a shaman friend ingredients for making Ayahuasca, unfortunately the plants are already grinded and I can't remember which of the plants I should make into tea first. The recipe involves making tea out of one, drinking it and after an hour the other one. One is pink and one is dark red (Unfortunately, I don't know the name of the plants) Based on your experiences, could you please advise me if you recongnize it by colour? Any help will do. (wrong order it will produce no effect) Thank you very much for your help cactus2013 attached the following image(s): pink.png (654kb) downloaded 104 time(s). dark-red.png (666kb) downloaded 105 time(s).

If I remember correctly, MHRB is pink in color when powderized. The darker stuff could be syrian rue, for it looks the right color compared to the rue seeds I have ground up. However, I am not one hundred percent sure on this. I am only guessing and going off of things I have seen and read in the past, so do not take what I say to heart. Hopefully someone more knowledged in brewing Aya can chime in on this. Everything published by Gone-and-Back are the mad rantings and ravings of a mind who yearns to be free and thinks he knows what he is talking about. However, these are just delusions made to feel that freedom, because that freedom will never come. Any experiments done are purely figments of the imagination, and are falsified to the highest degree. Nothing should be taken seriously from a crazy mans mind.

the pinkish one in the first pic is mimosa , the second pic dark red is rue try tasting them just a pinch on the tongue the mimosa tastes like dry powder the rue is bitter also just take 2 grams of each and brew them if your're still not sure after tasting the powder illusions !, there are no illusions there is only that which is the truth

how well do you trust your 'shaman friend'? I'd ask them what the two mystery bags have in them and do some research before ingesting any of that. I never saw rue so red, but I never left it ground up exposed to air for a long time.

Thank you for the replies. The color of the rue is darker because of the low light in the room when I took the pictures. Tasted them both: the pink one is very dry, no peculiar taste and the second one is bitter. I kept them in plastic bags, in a dark, dry environment. As I studied multiple recipes and all suggest both plants should be mixed together, but has anyone tried making separate brews and take them an hour apart? Thank you

Doing the seperate brews gives more of a chance for it to not work. If you wait to long or drink the second brew too soon, it may not work due to the timing of MAO-inhibition. Best bet would be to brew up 2-3g of the rew, along with however much mimosa you plan on taking (I recommend looking into dosages, due to its high tryptamine percentage). When there is enough MAOIs present in the brew, they will work on the MAO enzymes before the MAO has a chance to attack the tryptamines. brew them separately , and take mimosa 20 minutes or sooner after the rue don't wait an hour or it might not work also syrian rue powder does not need to be brewed just steep it in boiling water , this is how , pour boiling water on syrian rue powder in a cup and keep mixing it with a spoon for 20 minutes till the water cools down , then let it settle , drink the greenish water from the top and throw the sludge away also mimosa needs to be brewed longer , brew mimosa 3 times for 1 hour each , them combine and reduce , while brewing or reducing remember to keep the heat low as boiling will only destroy the actives or convert them to n-oxide , also add some lemon to make sure the actives stay active for longer also while tripping remember to get your music and play it loud illusions !, there are no illusions there is only that which is the truth

Thank you very much for your guidance.
Does anyone know a complete list of MAOI diet?
I found just simple ones on erowind and other ayahuasca forums, but i did't find:
bran, sesame seeds, flax seeds, grain cereals
or what is not strictly on the forbidden list is okay to eat?

no need for a special diet with RIMA. Exactly. Harmala alkaloids are RIMAs, reversable inhibitors of MAO, there for if the MAO is needed to break something down due to food toxins, it should be able to kick out the RIMA and work on breaking down something else.
