Hello folks. I am new to this site and want to try this tek for morning glory seeds but I can't follow the tek instructions. Can anyone help me understand it please.

Any idea what the references to powder and liquid mean in steps 3 and 5?

Its pretty basic. Defatt the seed powder with naptha multiple times and let dry. Discard naptha and save seed powder. Mix seed powder in Isopropyl alcohol multiple times, saving the IPA extract each time. Discard seed mush after final pull. Evaporate all the IPA to give crude brown LSA powder extract.

Your explination is a bit different than the tek as far as routine, it looks like step 3 and 4 are flip-flopped on the tek eh?

It sounds more simple than I had originally anticipated: Defat, Pull, Evap.

I am sure that I am over thinking this simple tek but does there need to be specific pH during the steps?
