Hello dmt-nexus. I've been browsing around on here for a long long time and am finally deciding to try an extraction with the acacia confusa i just recently acquired.
I refuse to use lye! So iv'e decided to go with Infundibulum's acetone tek but a little different.
The reason i want to do it this way if it would work is because it seems easier than all the FASA precipation stuff, imo. I'd like to get crystals like in Thick-Light's tek, but i'm just fine with the goo iv'e read alot about.
Please let me know if this shall work. Your help is very much appreciated.
Dissolve 5 grams of citric acid in 100ml acetone and make enough to saturate the root bark (it's shredded i think this should still work?)
I'll probably let that sit for several days to absorb the goods.
Then decant the acetone with a coffee filter from the extraction jar into a glass dish, and let the acetone completely evaporate making an extract.
Then hydrate the extract with a good amount of water, mix well, and do a couple a naptha defats.
Evaporate the hydrated extract by boiling down and then drying with a blow dryer.
Add an equal amount of sodium carbonate/calcium hydroxide to the extract and make a paste with water, let dry.
Soak the paste with a good amount of acetone, mix well, decant with coffee filter, and evaporate to yeild dmt.
Then wash with acetone.Does this sound viable? Please give me some feedback
Btw this is a great forum and really have enjoyed reading through all the great information on here. Thanks everyone.
