Hello! SWIMs nOOb exracting. This forum is pretty cool for all information about DMT extractions, SWIM have been reading some months ago and finally SWIM make his first extraction. SWIM is from Mexico. SWIM use the A/B extraction method, using first Acetic Acid for the extraction of the mimosa (SWIM used Mimosa Tenuiflora or Hostilis called here Tepezcohuite which here in the "mercado" is too cheap, close to 7 USD each half kilo) and then the NaOH process, finally I got my Naptha/DMT liquid in the freezer for the precipitation. Today is the 3rd day in the freezer and I can see three more or less big rocks yellowish and some very small white points in the rest of the jar. SWIM suppose can separate this yellow rocks and the the others if they dissolved, precipitate by evaporation. What do you think?
SWIM saw in some place that with 500gram of Mimosa Hostilis is normal to get maybe 2gramos of DMT minimun. if the total weight got it is less than this, which can be the causes of this? The Mimosa Material, acetic acid first step, the mix with the napftha and NaOH?

It's either the materials or it's still in there somewhere. Never throw anything away until finished. If results aren't desireable, then steps can be repeated.

hi, SWIM always use STB extraction and with this tek he would be able to extraxt about 8g of DMT out of 500g of mimosa. SWIM did extraction few days ago and got 1.6g out of 100g of mimosa. if you dont get at least around 5g out of 500g that you are doing something wrong or the root bark is not good quality. good luck
