howdy
my cat is in the middle of an A/b extraction, and began to ask himself about the temperature variable in the solutbilty of solvents..?(polar and non-polar)
He knows that warm non-polar solvent is able to obsorb more freebase, but what about the temperature of the aqueous layer?
Should my cat heat up the aqueous layer also? before defatting, and after basification for the extraction? would room temperature be beter, with warm naphtha, or both warm?
will the heat help the dmt transfer to the naphtha layer, and help with seperation of the two layers? should i try to do the mixing and decanting of naphtha fast, before they cool down?
My cat really enjoys catnip, and doesn't pay too much attention when in chemestry class, so he's not too sure about all the science parts of these extractions.
So many questions haha, thanks for reading!
