Stuck to bags Options

Hey everyone,

I have some small baggies that are covered with jungle/sticky spice on the inside. This was from improper storage of the oily parts of an extraction and it ended up leaving what appears to be over 20mg in multiple bags.

I was wondering if there is an easy way to dissolve and re xtal these easily? I immediately thought about vinegar but am unsure if it will work. Obviously more powerful solvents are out of the question due to it all being in thin plastic bags.

Any help would be great, I have not broken through (posted lots about that) and being in Canada there are no more methods of getting any reliable plants to continue extractions, so what remains in these bags may be my last hope.

Well one other hope is that q21 tek 2 leaves jungle spice still in the bark; another extraction method may net me more? Does anyone know how much more you can expect if someone was say to do a xylene or limonene extract on bark that no longer pulls with naphtha?

Thanks for the help guys, my journey almost seems its at an end if I can't get more out!

i cant help you with what to do about your sticky mess. the best i can think of is scraping and recrystalling that.

i will say that jungle spice is not the same at all as dmt. they are two very different experiences.

Not sure the consistency you are working with but I've been able to use a razor or other thin-edged items to scrape anything stuck to bags. I tear the bag down the sides, lay the bag flat and scrape what I can onto a surface below.

I'm not sure what to recommend as far as dissolving it. The ones I know wouldn't work with plastic.

As for other plant sources have you looked into Acacia or Phalaris? Phalaris are some hardy grasses that can do well in many conditions. There are a few Phalaris clones available for purchase that have been selected for higher DMT content and lower content of potentially harmful substances. Acacias may require better growing conditions than Phalaris, but it's worth a look to see if any may be in your area. Check out the Collaborative Research Project and Plant Analysis/Testing forums for some more detailed info. If you are having trouble finding MHRB I've heard some mentions of suppliers offering Acacia as well.

Thanks for the replies!

I'll open them up and scrape them today, that does sound like the best idea and I am kind of upset I didn't think of that before. I'll let you know what I gather just for fun!

Phalaris seems really hit-and-miss with a lot of miss. I don't like the idea of all those other alkaloids and potentially harmful ones as well, but I am positive that this grows wild in my area (it seems it does all over North America)

Acacia is what I have been searching for, google and duckduckgo'ing for weeks now to no avail. Seems my only option is seeds which will put me back a few years. I have contacted a UK reseller that supposedly has stock with no reply, however I believe customs would be an issue anyway, although I'm hoping not so much if I can find a suitable Acacia bark. This was not the point of my thread though and I'll end that discussion here as it's bordering on sourcing... but on that note, I really hope something happens for people like us in Canada who's natural climate doesn't provide anything other than Phalaris. I am surprised there is not more ethnobotanical suppliers considering our plant laws are more relaxed.

Thanks again for the replies.

wild phalaris is a mix of all kinds of stuff. The named clones you can get off the internet are high in dmt and low in the other stuff.

there is a tek in the works for cloned phalaris. there has even been dmt extracted from the named clones and these people are waiting on testing kits to make sure its just dmt and nothing else got through.

so really, grow a named phalaris clone, they grow super fast and by the time youre ready to try your hand at it im sure the tek will be out.

also, grow plants anyways. you never know the future of the other plant sources, mhrb is pretty much dead now. hate to see that happen to the others and then youll be out of luck.

just my 2 cents.
