Ok so dood did a stb. Dood had trouble with high air temps and humidity. He had two jugs.
pulled semi clean naphtha for the first few. Had trouble with his xtals when drying.
He did a rex, but got lots of red goo with white xtals on top .
He got what he could of the nice clean crystals that were on the sides and on top of the goo.
So now he has lot's of xtals but very red. He knows of the rex tecnenic. Heat naphtha and re dissolve and cool at room temp then in the fridge, then freeze precipt.
What he is left with on this batch is lot's of xtals but very dirty red. So what dood wants to do is make this dirty stuff pure white. Is this possible ?
There is lot's of fats and oils in his product. His latter pulls at room temp were dark.
For what ever reason, he got dirty product. After adding the nasty stuff to hot clean naphtha,
desolving it and cooling at room temp then into the fridge for 8 hrs. He put it into the freeze. The dark red was on the bottome but full of lighter xtals. He worked fast to grab what he could of the light xtals. But he still had red sludge with lighter xtals in that.
He grabbed what he could of the solids and put on a paper plate in front of a fan to evap the remaining solvent.
This noob needs expert help. Can he turn the remaining red xtals white with a soda wash ?
He just ordered a sep funnel and a buchner funnel. He has a vac system.
Should he use clean naphtha with charcoal to try and get that crud out of this batch ? Would that work ? Or is he hoping for too much ? He knows how to do the rex with hot clean solvent.
He also understands about a soda wash.
If he can get the red xtals dry, could he clean them up ?
He did not do a defat on this batch.
Should he save all this for a oral doses ?
He does not want to loose this or any actives.
Is there any way to save this project ?
He has a lot of this stuff and would not want to take a loss !
Please help this noob, if possible !
