DMT still yellow after recrystallization Options

What does it mean if the DMT is still yellow after a non-freeze Re-X using heptane (assuming proper procedures were followed)? Does it mean that the initial extraction was sloppy? If SWIM continues to Re-X will it eventually come out white?
