Visual representations of dosages? Options

Hey guys. I've done several extractions in the past (typically with low yield, or at least I think.) My problem is measuring what I scrape off of my containers. My MG scale is on order, but in the meantime I've been attempting to use a tenth gram scale. It isn't very accurate (most likely made for bud, 500g by .1g). It seems to not register much of anything below .3g, which I still have yet to hit. Typically, my extractions will yield roughly a penny or nickle sized amount of crystals.

I understand that the density and therefore volume of crystals will vary from extraction to extraction. I typically use q21q21s tek 2 with small amounts of mhrb (typically around 100g). What I'm really looking for is a rough visual/pictorial guide to how much spice I have.

I looked on wikipedia and found the density of DMT to be ~1.1g/ml, which is similar to the particle density of table salt. I thought I could measure a gram of table salt, then compare it to my DMT. Does this sound okay?

Just wait for your scale to arrive, trust me, there's no rush when it comes to this!
Especially when you start using it.

I tried a few doses on a piece of steel wool in a small pipe, to various degrees of success.

The first time I had a fantastic trip. The smoke was hard to hold as first, but then melted into my lungs. The walls began to...vibrate and I fell back onto my bed, melting into it. Time slowed down and the body load reminded me of LSA. I felt my mind and imagination begin to work in ways they haven't since I was very young. I came down with a permanent smile on my face and continued to smile for several hours.

My second trip wasn't as great. It was close after a fight with my girlfriend. I had just finished watching clockwork orange. I felt as though everything had been flipped upside down, but I didn't have any closed or opened eyed visuals. Mostly I had a huge body load, found myself crying (though from pain or happiness or what, I'm not sure.) My mind raced like crazy and it was impossible to put solid thoughts in my head. I would open my eyes and the room closed around me. I almost lost control of my body and found myself taking more and more hits. Overall, I was pretty gone for a good hour and a half. Kindof a scary experience, but I'm excited to try again once I actually figure out how much I am dosing.

With DMT it is impossible to make a visual representation of a dosage. The difference between batches that look the same can easily be two fold, if not more.

So waiting for that scale is what is best. Smile

Alright, I kinda figured as much but I was hopeful nonetheless. Thanks.

He isn't kidding. I've had freeze precips that, after scraped looked like a gram to me and ended up being 300 mg. And the other way around! Don't eyeball doses.
A friend, who is an experienced extractor was over when I was scraping some fumarates out of a container. I asked him how much he thought it was and he guessed that it was ~100mg. I weighted it later and it was 700mg. Fumarates are heavier, but still. Shocked

Don´t fight with your girlfriend and take DMT afterwards.
IMHO it´s not ok to "fight" with a woman.
I think it´s a bad setting if you have problems in your life, taking DMT is definetly not the right thing to do in such a situation. It will very likely result in a bad experience and if not its also bad, because you train yourself that DMT helps you if you have problems, which i think you don´t want.

I meant argument, as I would never fight (physically) with anyone, let alone someone I care about. But I definitely understand now, exactly how much respect these little crystals command. My past experiences (with LSA and MJ) have shown me the importance of set and setting but I didn't realize how sensitive it could be. Definitely learned my lesson.

It is hard to explain the compulsion I felt towards taking another hit. It was kindof like my brain was telling me that one more hit would make me "break through". I began to lose touch with what was actually normal (my brain told me that the room ALWAYS spun, and I couldn't quite figure out if it really did or not). Next time I experiment, I plan on having my best friend sit in while completely sober. I find that music (or any noise really) and lights kindof detracted from my trips and almost irritated me in a sense. I have a lovely camp that is extremely secluded with creature comforts (toilet, shower, couch, roof) but no cell phone service (definitely a plus in my book) and a beautiful view of the starry heavens, unpolluted by light. That will be the setting for my next expedition.
