Deep ambient eh? Well, not exactly ambient but more Drone music, I can highly recommend to everyone Eliane Radigue with the amazing Trilogie de la Mort (Trilogy of Death). Following is a link to the first part of part 1 of the trilogy: Trilogie de La Mort - Part 1: KyemaIt's a three hour work in total.

Steve Roach has a huge discography of beatless ambient. His rhythmic stuff is amazing too. He's had a lot of Aya experience.
Also: Al Gromer Khan. It's sitar based but you wouldn't know it with all the digital processing. He manages to walk the line between quiet and intense... I know that's hard to imagine but it's great. I recommend the album Future Lounge.
And yeah, I know, this post is after the fact but I wanted to make those recommendations anyway. How'd the trip go?

Oh so Drone is a real genre huh.. I've been listening to the Drone Zone radio every single day the last months, and all I know is that it's the perfect atmosphere for me to work in. Also thanks for that recommendation, that was deeeep.

Check out Akira Kosemura and Haruka Nakamura, Afterglow is the name of the cd. It's pretty much the single best cd i've ever listened to on mushrooms. Have fun

Brian Eno - Ambient 4: On Land https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AWP7CchR4WQ
All of Eno's ambient work is gorgeous. In my country, the legal go-to psychoactive substance is ethanol. Sometimes my friends get wasted and tell the craziest stories about how they go out at night to harvest strange grasses in the light of the full moon. They claim to meet elves, white light and jaguars. These are their stories.
SMAOLK ZEBONG Mon Ami, if you lose your inhibition we can take some extasy and DANCE!

I have always enjoyed the music of Steve Roach whilst on any psychedelic journey. It's very deep. He has a way of creating an entire world with sound. I would encourage anyone to check his stuff out.
