As far as the original poster, one may experience a light yellowing of the product as it is exposed to atmospheric oxygen (even when it is in a container if not air tight). And I, also, am assuming that it is the N-oxide of said product.
One may avoid exposure to atmospheric oxygen by drying the product in a vacuum dessicator, but who really does that?
