My friend completed his first extraction of FB DMT with satisfactory results, and has sampled the product in very small doses (indescribable body load, witnessed plants growing from sprouts to maturity) but has decided that he would like his first "breakthrough" experience to be with an oral preparation. His main concern with the spirit molecule is more spiritual than experiential in nature and he feels that though vaporizing would be interesting at some point he is more likely to benefit most from a tea as suggested by some members of this community.
My friend prepared 60g mimosa (not for one dose - for 10!) by simmering for one hour with 4 tbsp 5% vinegar and 3 qt filtered water, and straining x3 through a t-shirt. An egg white clarification was used to (hopefully) reduce nausea. Before reducing my friend stirred in 15g unflavored gelatin, strained, reduced, and left the mixture to sit for 12 hrs (he was in the car and not able to immediately chill the preparation) before refrigerating for 24 hrs. At this point my friend thought the tea would harden due to the gelatin but it is still a milky pink liquid. My friend would also add that he did unintentionally boil the mix for roughly half an hour after stirring in the gelatin.
So given the backstory: Did the boiling or leaving the mixture at room temp for 12 hrs somehow inhibit the hardening function of the gelatin? Any problems with my technique?
Many dark purple clumps (presumably saturated with tannins) were removed, so my friend is fairly sure the clarification was successful, but he wanted to have a solid substance for easier dosing.
Edit - 3g rue will be taken orally with cold water/lemon preparation.
