I freakin' love the smell of DMT.

To me, it smells exactly like fresh opium when it hardens up after you bleed it from a Poppy. A little sweet like honey but has that stiff punch to it.

What do you liken it to?

Is it possible that it smells a little fishy/organic?

I extracted from MHRB with a STB tek and the water phase smells very much like my final product. Is this normal or do I need to purify to get that (not so nasty but still unpleasent) smell out of there?

To me it smells like old people. My girlfriend says old clothes, but what ever. I'm guessing she/we associate it with naphthalene (the stuff of which moth balls are made too), as the smells are strikingly similar.

I swear the smell of it signals my brain like the tinniest particles reacting with my brain function your brain knows beep bob beep, ....Dynomite!!!

it does have a weird smell to it like moth balls, But completely different.

sometimes crystal tastes like a raw health plant in its own taste like some raw aniseed or raw chilli or cinnamon, DMT crystal tingles the lips.

It smells like a flashback of all your previous experiences combined into one intense nasal-bomb.

Plastic mixed with leather if were talking about just straight freebase spice, maybe something earthy mixed in there(tasted that more when I insuffolated it). But then when vaped, tastes just like burnt plastic, and smells like that or as some of buddies have told me when sitting, mothballs.

to me the question is back-to-front, and sometimes i encounter things which smell like DMT..
it's like 'orange'..what smells like it is what we usually ask..an archetypal fragrance..

..i guess 'indole' is the technical description for those familiar with a range of compounds..
