Well I did the lazy man's tek for 1 lb. of MHRB for the second time, and its not going well... the first time I did freeze precip once and evap once, and both of those times I got a great yield. This time I did it exactly the same, and I can't seem to get powder with my freezer, although it's different than the one I used the first time. Any ways, I'm getting dmt but its a grey color and has the texture of an overly chewed piece of gum, and its no where near the amount it should be. So I'm going to put the naphtha I pulled with back in the dish and evaporate it, but in the meantime does anyone know what could be wrong? I'm hoping its just the temperature of my freezer.. also I let about half evaporate before freezing as well

Edit: well I saw on anothr post somebody said to evap. Naphtha down to 50 ml or less, and I have about 330 ml, even after evaporating half of.. so ill do that now, I used a lot of naphtha due to the fact I was extracting from a pound

Evaporating around half of it will increase the yield. The more saturated the solvent is the more DMT will precipitate.

Is the bark from the same batch and vendor? Did you keep your base solution? There may be a chance that you PH didn't get high enough or your naphtha didn't properly extract the goods. If your evap and refreeze still doesn't work I'd go back to your base, make sure your ph is 12 and up, put it in a heath bath to get it warm, add a smaller amount of naphtha about .5-.7 ml per gram of powder give it a good mix and let it sit for at least an hour or so.

If none of this works then it's most likely bad mhrb. Do you always do 1lb extractions? I try to keep mine 200 grams and lower just in case I make a mistake along the way.
