Hello fellow psychonauts, I'm fairly new to DMT still, only been to hyperspace like 5 times. Has anyone smoked while taking a shower? today i felt like the shower would be an excellent place for a journey. Thanks!

Several times, and with the lights off, at relatively low doses. The spice was smoked immediately beforehand, rather than in the shower. Every time was a rather profound experience. The sound of the shower seemed to work quite well with the auditory facets of spice, as well as completely surrounding/encompassing visuals in the dark, tied into the noise. Obviously this is something that would require a mindset of precautions and carefulness. Though if you do not yet feel somewhat comfortable with spice, maybe it could wait. Though I haven't particularly "broken through", I would presume this isn't the place you'd be at all trying to get your break-through dose in.

Once, after having read DM Turner’s thoughts about water and DMT, I decided to have a go at working with water. I didn’t work in the shower, rather I filled the bath, there was a massive rainstorm outside, so I opened the windows. Lights off, candles on.

This was one of the more extreme open eye experiences I’ve had. I looked down at myself and was turning into several different people every second, I looked around me and the candles were trying to get at the plants (about 3 or 4x the size a flame should be). Convinced I was channeling something or being possessed I got very scared, I felt abused and very scared. I jumped out of the bath and tried some kind of flailing around to rid myself of whatever I thought was inside me.

It took me a couple of weeks to get over that experience, I would like to try again but I don’t know if I would want to do it alone and the sort of people who would sit for me in that kind of situation are a bit lacking!

That sounds scary..

Speaking of DM Turner and considering how he died, I don't think anyone should take a bath with a substance that has the potential to make you unconscious or take you out of your body.

I've never tripped outside (too paranoid that the men with the white coats will get me), but I'd like to investigate this link with DMT and water too. Just listening to some audiotapes of soothing waves is pretty profound, can't even imagine how the real deal would feel like!

I have never tried it in the shower/bath. My favorite place is outside, I am going to try going to the beach and watch the tide come in soon.I have heard good things about DMT/water.I have gone swimming on lsd but not really interested in doing that on dmt.

I have been told the best thing to do is to get somewhere comfortable and smoke it then lay down and do not move just be with the DMT, i like this method much.

I would love to try this in the shower a half breakthrough dose maybe 25mg or some herbal?

Yup, I did have knowledge of the fact that he died in the bath too, I guess this may have had some part to play in the experience I had. The journey was immense, but very unsettling and left me quite delusional for a while.

I would like to do it again, but if I was to I’d like to have someone sit for me who could deal with the slightly odd situation and whom I felt relaxed enough around not to feel anxious (I find it hard to work with other people when vaping at the best of times).

My best experiences have been smoking a breakthrough dose in the bathroom and jumping in the shower immediately after.

Once I smoked a breakthrough dose just sitting in the shower, and had a very strange grotesque breakthrough experience with strange mirrored humanoids that resembled myself with contorted limbs, also the the shower tap and drain seemed to transform into something extremely terrifying. ( when the water was turned on, the experience was still quite awesome as usual though.)

So smoking actually sitting in the shower, a very strange and anxious experience. But showering on DMT is ultimately a must do.

Probably because the inside of my shower is a bit darkening, maybe if you had a really pretty shower, but the strange looking taps and drain and showerhead gave way to an uncomfortable setting.

Compared to outside the shower in the bathroom is quite a pleasant setting.
After all setting plays a big part in the DMT experience.

I didn’t actually think of such a possibility, I was just looking for a massively intensified experience, which I got. I have to say the sound of a very heavy rainstorm and being warm in the bath and cold on top with the wind blowing about the room was quite an experience, just the feeling of being lots of different people was rather disturbing.

My first time I crawled in the shower in the dark, major reflection on life while melting into the water. It seemed like the thing to do after purging. Then I went back and took one more rip and grabbed my guitar. Meanwhile my dad was "caught in a web" on my bed getting his first taste of the spice also. Pleased

I agree, one hundred percent, that blasting off in a shower can be terrifying and negative. I agree, one hundred percent, that blasting off outside can be amazing and positive.

SOOOO, if you have the opportunity, why not blast off, outside, and in the rain??

Being in mother natures natural shower, in her watery embrace, sounds so amazing to me.

Any agreement here?

Ok. Just to clearify. Sitting down or laying down, but NOT standing up in the shower while breaking through.

I personally think its DANGEROUS to be breaking through in a tub full of water while an OBE is taking place with no sitter. Seriously reconsider before trying this. Only takes about 5 seconds of lung fulls of water to die. And the experience can be 20 minutes. It would suck to think you are dead in your spice trip, to actually never be back again. Have your family find you dead in the bath. Just sayin.. Please love and take care while on spice. Play safe eh!

If you want to be around water but in the house. Get a small table top fountain that trickles water. They also bring luck in your house. Nothing like white noise to drown out the background noise of cars out the window, or others who might be living in the house making sounds.

I smoked a changa spliff in the bath once and felt like a cat. I hated it. I'd rather listen to some water flow through a box spring in the forest...DRY! Big grin

D.M. Turner went on about DMT being a water spirit, yet died in a bathtub on ketamine.

Well, I tried it. and it was great! i didnt break through, but i had a very pleasant trip. so i recommend sitting down with hot water coming out, move the head so it isn't directly on you, and smoke a fat dose with some weed. the sound of the water was great!

i tried smoking synthetic 5 meo dmt in a bath one time, with my girlfriend acting as sitter, was a very powerful and positive experience. more recently i smoked a pipe of jungle spice and jumped into a lake at a festival, again with people there incase i got into trouble, it was exhilarating but the shock of cold water stopped me from going to deep.. i think the best way would be to submerge yourself in the shallows of a beautiful lake and get a friend to help you smoke the pipe and take it off you. im tempted to try this year Smile
