Using a spoon and lighter I melted/vaped the white crystals(melted clear) until gone. If there were lye I would still have white residue/crystals after evapping correct?
Thanks everyone Peace and Respect:]

I think so, lye vaporizes at around a thousand degrees F at least. You can recrystallize your DMT if you are worried about purity.

Thanks everyone Peace and Respect:] Sounds right - if you wanted, you could have also dissolved the spice in acetone; lye wouldn't dissolve in acetone. This is akin to crystallisation with naphtha, where lye wouldn't dissolve for the life of it and would be part of the precipitating yellow sludge that is often seen in naphtha re-x. you'd have to be really sloppy to get lye in your spice, so I wouldn't worry if I were you

Well sometimes suspended micro droplets of mimosa basified layer can come during pulls. specially if you mixed just recently, or things that are stuck to the sides of the container and come when you pull the layer. But usually if you just separate the pull and let it stand for a while, it will fall to the bottom. Also a simple wash would easily take care of it. Anyways OP thats an interesting way of testing for lye, it hadnt occured to me, thanks for sharing

But wouldn't there maybe be plant fats at the bottom of the spoon too? Then one might think it's lye! Done: THC - LSD - MESC - MDMA - Shrooms - DMT / Want:Hyperspace travel - World Peace Respect, intention, meditation, inhalation, observation, analyzation, respect.
