I am extremely anticipated to try it in about a week, is it as awesome as i think it's going to be? I'm totally into opening depths of my mind and seeing things, trying to decipher what they mean. I want to go on a journey, and communicate with other beings. I want to learn how to harness the ability to speak with the higher powers, which I know for a fact are there. Basically what I'm asking is this: Do you, being an experienced user of this beautiful alkaloid, think it could be possible to actually LEARN things, and progress in different trips? I am willingly going to let these intelligent creatures abduct me if i get the chance, as i just want the truth, to everything. to know EXACTLY what the heck we are doing here, and what THEY are doing THERE, wherever that may be. Please describe any crazy experiences you may have had, or your opinion, I look forward to reading them

I know its hard, but try not to set yourself up.
It's NOT going to be what you expect, and thats ok.
It can be completely different for everyone, and each time can be totally different from the last.
Give in to the spice, and the spice will...reward you, in one way or another. just don't go in expecting everything you mentioned. Sometimes those things might happen, sometimes they might not, and they may never.
Whatever happens, it will be nothing short of amazing.

I knew somebody would say that, but i feel as though i would be able to figure everything out, like a puzzle. I guess the only way to find out is to do it, and do it numerous times. But I do enjoy finding new questions, and trying to answer them myself... When you die you learn all through this alkaloid, so why shouldn't you be able to while you're living?

when i say numerous times, i don't mean over-doing it. I understand the strength and intensity of DMT, and i respect it completely.

to DeMolecularTraveler, that's exactly how i had planned on approaching it. I wasn't going to try and force it, but let it come naturally. I truly believe if you try hard enough, you can unlock the secrets. And also, i know it will be far from what i expect to happen, i actually think it will determine what i expected

You can learn things, its just that they lead to more questions.
And its not as simply as you're thinking.
You'll learn all of this very soon=)
Also, since it's different for each person, the things you do learn might not be applicable to someone else, or they might.
I'm still new myself, so I still have plenty of learning to do, but I am comfortable where I am at.
One more thing, I suggest starting with very small doses and working your way up. I've found it helps me get acquainted with hyperspace enough so I'm not COMPLETELY overwhelmed when I journey.
I havent found my sweet spot for dosage yet, but I'm enjoying looking for it=)

Ya I think everyone was in the same mindset you are in at one point. Once I did it I realized it was different than I expected. The questions I had before were different from the ones I had after. My ideas changed, along with my hypothesis to a point. The questions i now have reflect not that I received answers to my previous questions, the answers are different and require different questions.

I think I had the answers, but now I seek questions for them.

DMT may not always be able to answer specific questions but it does provide some incredible teachings about the universe if you listen to it and dont get caught up contemplating and reacting to everything during the experience...
so i can't guarantee that you'll learn all the answers to every mystery about the universe, but every trip will give you a teaching, which can often help in everyday situations. The underlying intent and drive of the universe can certainly become much more clear too in my opinion

spice in particular but other psychedelics also really de stigmatised my attitude towards the concept of god too which i was admittedly very close minded and perhaps a little arrogant about when i was younger and strong atheist.
