Hi. i plan on using a tek that has heptane(bestine) as its only solvent. I read that heptane is terribly difficult to evaporate, so freeze precipitation is better.
My question is, what are some ways to get that little bit of heptane extracted from the spice?
i plan on pulling the bestine and putting it into a jar, straight to the freezer it goes.
then after it freezes for a while( havent decided on the time to freeze it, suggestions are welcome), i plan on dumping some of the heptane out, if not all of it, then upside down method to let the rest of the heptane drip out. and then after that, i'll use the coffee filter method to soak up the leftover heptane. THENN, after that, i'll let the spice sit for a few hours.....then, put it in a jar and let it sit for a few hours, then smell it, to see(or rather smell) if theres some heptane left.

how do ig et those last bits of heptane away from my precious spice?

Redissolve in IPA and evap

By IPA, i assume isopropyl alcohol?

Should i just use the smallest amount of IPA that will dissolve my spice and then let it sit to evaporate?
or are there specific measurements that i should take into account.
