Last year my cat did an extraction using Noman Tek and yielded a decent amount of pure white DMT. My cat put the jars with the MHRB, NaOH mixture away and forgot about it. This week my cat came across it again and mixed in some new naptha and did the freezer precip. My cat now has quite a bit of slightly yellowish powder, in fact this seems to be a larger yield than the original from last year, that looks a slight bit coarser than my original yield, but dried still has that distinct DMT smell. My cat plans to do a recrystallization with it, but my cats question is how likely is it that what she's produced this time is not just DMT? Is it possible there is NaOH in this yellowish powder since the mixture sat so long? Will a recrys. remove all impurities regardless of how long the mixture sat?
