Zero Yield?? Why after one successful pull Options

Im working on my second extraction using Marsofolds Tek. I used 1lb of powdered root bark and I just filtered my first pull and have absolutley nothing. Theres a small amount one whiteish goo at the bottom but it does not look like anything special. My first extraction I did all the same methods with the same materials and was able to pull about 1g of beautiful white free base.(Unfortunatley I wasnt aware I could keep pulling with more naphtha).

My guess is that I either

- I did not stir in the naphtha fully because i was trying to avoid emulsions. in my first try the naphtha blended before seperating because I think i stirred more.

-I used a shirt to filter the rootbark because it was fine powder. could the shirt have trapped the alkaloids?

-I did 3 300ml pulls. Should I have used less, like around 200ml?

Im waiting until tommorow to filter last two jars and im also getting more naphtha to keep trying to do pulls. Im going to try four pulls around 200ml unless you guys think otherwise. Please help with any information because I will be extremely sadfaced if I waste such precious gifts.

DAY 2- sencond jar seems to have zero yield as well, im off to get more naphtha and im going to try using less naphtha around 200ml, and definatley stirring more. Please post any ideas for what could help much appreiciated.

might be an idea to use less naptha for your pulls... maybe around 100ml .. the lower the saturation of dmt in the non polar solution the less will precipitate out. So if you use too much solvent, the DMT will have trouble precipitating out of it

Yeah smaller pulls are advisable. Roll each pull, gently, but ensuring the solvent has plenty of contact with the liquid. I don't think your filtering technique is the problem.

Are you evaporating before precipitating ?

No I didnt evaporate this time because I dont have a fan, and I have to avoid stinking up the house with naphtha. But surprisingly I got more naphtha, the Klean Strip brand which I used on my fisrt extraction, and now I have wonderful crystals in my jars. The other brand I used was Crown and it seemed to not want to blend into the mix before seperating, it just stayed on top when I stirred. I guess something was different about it, it was about $2 cheaper than Klean Strip. Im just going to keep using that, although I already did 4 200ml pulls before I checked these replies so Ill definatley give 100ml or so a try after I filter out these jars.

Thanks for the info guysRazz
