So I have this limo i was salting actives out of with vinegar, the vinegar wasn't taking color like i wanted to and the limo had some clouding that wasn't settling into the gar layer so i separated out the gar and put the limo in the freezer overnight. When i went to observe the limo today, there is a real nice and thick looking crystalline layer on the bottom of the jar, like a fumarate precip. I was wondering if this layer could be acetates that were just being stubborn or if they could still be freebase alks. I cannot find my memory card to take a photo, but if anyone has any ideas as to what this i would love to hear before i attempt to filter. (maybe pullout with water if acetates?)
