Hi,

What pH does 500 ml (ph=7) water mixed with 50 g NaOH give? How do I calculate this?

Following this link the pH should be 14.398.

pH higher than 14 makes no sense, WTF is going on??

Sure it makes. there's pH of 15 and 16, just as there's pH of -1 and -2.
