Preparing Peganum Harmala Seeds Options

I was wondering if drying out these seeds in the oven at low temperature might make them a bit more brittle?

The intention is to make them eaiser to crush to powder for easier extraction.

Given that these seeds are extracted using boiling water, does this imply the harmalas can withstand temps up to 100 degs C in the oven?

I have tried freezing them to -22 degs C with little effect, still very difficult to crush.

Being new to this I have no spice grinder or blender, and am unsure what exactly i need for this step, so am trying a manual crushing/powdering route.

Any advice welcomed, as i'm struggling to get these seeds properly prepared for extraction.

Thanks guys.
