So I came across the "water tek" method and think that is the one I will do for extraction. One small question though, is it okay to use MHRB powder for the process? Or does it have to be in full?
If I need to use the full MHRB plant, where can I buy some online in Canada?

Just so you know, the "water tek" method isn't a thoroughly tried and tested tek. It takes weeks and doesn't yield nearly as much spice as the teks in the wiki (so it seems). Please look around before going ahead with this. It seems to be quite tedious with little reward. If you are looking for a "food safe tek" there are a few on the nexus to read through that use calcium hydroxide and limonene. Good luck!

I respect that you don't want to use solvents or bases, but there is nothing inherently nasty about them. They are chemicals that need to be handled with care and respect but it is nothing that is going to blow up in your face for no reason.
