So, having tried several different methods, (ash beds in a water pipe bing the favorite) SWIM finally decided to try the GVG. There is really an amazing difference in the lucidity, depth, ease, and intensity of the experience. SWIM was rather resistant to the idea that there was such a superior method to the machine or the ash bed, as he had experimented with careful attention to detail and technique... BUT he has been proven unequivocally wrong! SWIM really thought he had a rather good grasp on the DMT experience (this is not to say that he had approached "understanding" it, but he had reached a point in which he had learned to let go and be a good observer of the experience.) The GVG is far and away a superior tool. SWIM's next step is to try and overcome the sheer astonishment and amazement of the new landscape that the GVG has made available.

SWIMS first two journeys with the GVG were spent in complete and literal jaw-dropping shock! Like a child, continually thinking what is that? How could that be? The entities actually found it quite funny that SWIM would catch himself in these states of awe and try to "let go" and stop the analytical process. They seemed to really understand this tendency and assured SWIM that this was an important step in their communication.

SWIM was reminded again and again that he is just a child in that realm, and that understanding will not come in ways that he might expect.

Overall, the experience is far more fleeting than those SWIM had learned to incorporate via other smoking methods, yet it is CLEAR, to SWIM's mind, that this (GVG) is the way it is supposed to be done.

If you are on the fence at all, regarding the GVG, please try one out. You may be missing more than you think.

Glad you discovered the GVG! Really nothing else to add - you described your experience very well.

One question: You say the GVG experience is more "fleeting" than others. What do you mean?

By fleeting, I simply mean that it is far harder to really grasp the details of what occurred. I suspect that the primary reason for this has much to do with how indescribable everything was. Reflecting back on countless entities and objects that my little mind could not even approach with a linguistic model seems to equate to an experience that is rather difficult to hang on to or share.

Just a lot to absorb and accept. "I can't believe I am watching this... wait, what am I watching?" That feeling has remained, and I guess that's sort of what was meant by fleeting.

Awesome essay SlippyJ! I feel the same way about GVG. If I were younger or cuter, I'd volunteer to be their poster child or booth babe, or whatever.

Frankly, if not for GVG and changa I wouldn't be able to smoke DMT any more. What a world of difference a GVG makes.
