i did an extraction a few days ago from 150g shredded bark that i had to powder as much as i could before hand, when i freeze precip'd i ended up with 2 grams of yellow crystals, i then decided to re-x 1 gram of that which was put into aprox 25 mls of naptha, i got the usual yellow glob of oil on the bottom, seperated and put in the freezer again. now the oil was left in a shot glass to evap off any solvents and see wots left as my last lil bit i did left me some crystalized brown sugary type stuff which looks like its still got dmt in it. any way after most of the solvent had evaped i looked in and noticed this stuff had gone bright orange and was starting to crystalize or solidify. ]
i left it a good few hours an and once the solvent evaped this is wot im left with.
looks pretty funky and its now rock solid,
does anyone know if this still has a lot of dmt left in it, im under the impression its dmt n oxide but thats supposed to be an oil an not crystalize i thought. this stuff smells like dmt and when its vaped off with a lighter to it i can see it change from orange to clear as it melts an it still smells just like dmt.

a few impurities from wot was at very the bottom of the glass, i think there was lil bits of weed in there aswell that added to the dark spot.
oh forgot to mention this thing weighs 0.65g and is the majority of wot i put in to re-x, lol wtf.

IMHO yes it is DMT. Mostly DMT and some other plant artifacts. I dont think that there is that much n oxide in it, however I cant tell that for sure by looking at a picture. Based on experience, if you had reasonably fresh bark and did your extract in a timely fashion, I dont think that n oxide is the majority of whats in that.

Based on my experience, I would vape it. Actually I would use it to make changa just the way it is.

n_oxide tastes slightly different when you vape it. I had 150mg of crystalline orange n-oxide and i have to say it was great stuff!
The n_oxide was very oily and waxy but was still crystalline.

Looks great, sept for that spot it looks like you got some base mix in it...

If you can do a re-x I would. If not, yea changa blend would be best IMHO

yeah.... that dark speckled stuff on the bottom is no-bueno.

hey peeps, the darker stuff im pretty sure was only from bits of weed that got mixed in with the dmt when i was weighing out the g there were only a few tiny lil bits but ive always noticed when i do other extractions for my budder and BHO that any bits of weed bud/leaf add a dark tint around where it sat im sure this is just tar or terpins from the weed coming out, ive been stupidly careful theres no soup that gets through.
but yea it doesnt look too nice with that dark spot either way.
ive decided after further investigation as it seems most of it is still dmt that its best to re-x again this time leaving it to sit in warm solvent for longer to see if more dmt will dissolve out of it. i think its worked as im left with much less orange goo than before but the goo is still crystalizing as its evaping off the solvent so there must still be some spice in there, il probably save it all up from any other re-x's i do and then re-x again, for some reason i prefer the white fluffy stuff better although ive not properly tried the yellow stuff only did it once an got told to clean my spice more by im assuming wot was my sub conscience. i tried making a changa blend out of some of the same stuff but before any re-x was done just using pau darco, i didnt really like it but it was only 250mg per gram darco, i could defo feel it working tho even off a small bong but the effects were not that nice and the darco still had a slight rough woody spicy taste(probably too low ratio), i got some mullien an passionflower aswell, wots best to make changa just mullien, or add some Pf? the darco stuff wasnt really to my liking but it may be nice with a higher ratio i can defo see how the dmt changes the taste of darco for the better tho.

oh yea, heres a couple pics of the stuff that was re-x that i got the orange rock from.
nice white fluffy crystals only slightly off white/beige colour. they came in at around 270-280mg so somewhere i lost about 50mg, maybe its till in the solvent i left it to evap off anyway to see if any left over as it was only in the freezer for 24hrs.

looks delicious!
