In anticipation of a possible "DROUGHT" because of recent changes to EU law, I have been wondering about
processing maybe a kilo of powdered MHRB at a time. (NO, it's not for selling), it's just in case there
are any "more-serious" changes. The last changes came about very quickly with no warning, about two months
ago.

A question to anyone who's in the know =
If I had say 10-12 litres of water from the processed 1KG of MHRB, Would it be possible to boil this down
to one or two litre's and then extract or would this not be possible due to the thickness & viscosity of
the liquid making it impossible. Hope this is clear.

Thanks for directing me to the "cake method", I have read through it and it looks very interesting.
I did notice some people think it can be a little dangerous if you're not up on your chemistry
techniques though, but I think, if a bit of sense is used, it should be okay...

If anybody does have experience of boiling/simmering down a larger amount of water from MHR-Bark could
you let me know of the results please... Cheers

Simmer your liquid down to about 1L -> 1.5L. It will be fine, not viscous but it will probably be dark. Read the DMT handbook, (the tek on the wiki).

SWIM is currently testing out a small scale cake method to see how effective the yields are. Will report back if interested by the end of the week.

Swim read somewhere, I think in the chat room, "there have been changes to existing laws with regards to
the importation of certain plants and plant products that may be used for illicit reasons".
Hence, the ban on (powdered) MHRB - shredded and pieces are still okay, for now.

There is no ban and unless/until a credible source appear(s) I'll keep stating the same in all "ban topics".

Also you are talking about changing the EU law which is HUGE in terms of legal action and so far, no such thing has happened nor is it in action (as far as I know).

There may not be an actual legal ban, but shipments of powdered MHRB are still being confiscated by UK customs aren't they?

OP was talking about an EU ban which is very different (legal and consequences wise) from one country deciding something.

As for the UK

"what you were sent is shredded mimosa root bark. We have had to discontinue the powdered form of the mimosa because last autumn the Home Office all of a sudden decided to take the view that the powdered form is a "preparation of DMT" and hence illegal. The Sun published an anti-DMT propaganda article full of lies about it and customs seized over 100kg of it and two vendors got raided and arrested. We lost 15kg but luckily weren't raided. Since we knew that the powder would not make it through customs anymore, our wholesaler bought a shredder and started shredding it instead of powdering it for the UK market, and it looks like customs are letting it through in this form. So what you received does come from exactly the same source in Brazil, it is just in another form. You can still use it to dye your clothes in exactly the same way as with the powder.

If you want to send it back and receive a refund, we can do that. However you will probably find it very difficult to obtain powdered mimosa in the UK at the moment, as everyone we know of who used to sell it has either discontinued it or gone out of business. There should be a court case later this year and we are quite sure that the Home Office will lose since they don't really have a leg to stand on, so if and when this happens we might be able to sell powder again. But for now we are only selling shredded because we don't want to be put out of business by a raid and seizures."

Since the court case is still pending (right word ?) it's a gray area but indeed customs might decide to act without a court decision.

On that note, are court cases data available to the public in the UK ? Or if someone has any connections with the busted vendors.

ive had similar problems getting bark, well the one place i tried told me they lost 15/16kg recently an were backlogged, with orders(wonder if its the same as who the op uses, i never ordered powdered tho, an according to ebay there should be plenty in stock at his store as every item even 2kg says more than 10 in stock.
i wonder why im being told maybe 2/3 weeks before i get the 50 grams i ordered. it cant be that much of a drought if ebays still selling stuff an getting feedback etc for items received.
hopefully theres just some confusion an il still get me order soon. its not like i want kilos of the stuff, well not yet anyway.

I would like to point out that just because you buy a Kg of mimosa, doesn't mean you have to process that much. Why don't you just let it sit in bark form until you need it? It stores very well that way, plus you won't have have ~15g of crystals laying around with all the possible ramifications that can go along with that.

well seems ther drought has already hit the uk, even galactic toad wont ship me any mhrb to my country, i really dont understand wtf is going on. its a legal friggin plant why wont anyone sell me any friggin mhrb im starting to think im the only person having troubles as everyone else in the uk seems to get hold of it no problems please please please sum1 help me ive been trying to order this stuff for weeks now just getting told no we cant give it to you. help me sum1

yea, probably trying to put the suppliers out of business, i doubt they will seize smaller orders, it seems they are looking more for orders from brazil, probably just doin it to the big vendors with big amounts to piss em off. not very good still though. fuckin customs cunts wanna stop wastin taxpayers money on shit thats not illegal or regulated if they want it made that way they should do it properly and get the gov/acmd to review the current legislation, i doubt they would change it though. it shouldnt last too long as customs are not allowed to do wot they are doing anyway. not until an actual change in law is made.
