It's easy to do.
Swim just sbmerged 1 inch of a long cotton wire in a n-hexane far from being saturated, swim left the hexane to evaporate without freezing, just room temp 23°C more or less.

The cotton wire was hanging in the center of the solution not saturated of hexane, leaving the glass container open hexane evaporates in a night and saturates slowly to give to cristal more time to form.

Awesome flowers.
I did'nt know such big petals could grow in a night. A friend used the same method with naphta and a cotton wire but it took weeks before the naphta evaporate from a glass.

AFAIK n-hexane is the best solvent for some reasons, one is that it has a fast evaporation rate, 100ml go away in a night easily at room temp.

Ding, Dong... (doorbell) Hello Mr. Beckersv, I'm here to take your daughter out on a date???... Seriously though, that is truly beautiful!! Sounds like its fairly easy to do as well. How much Spice did you start with? And you said that 100ml of Hexane was used to dissolve the DMT in, right? What kind of jar did you use to evap in? Like how big/small, diameter round? I have some Hexane sitting here that I use to recrystallize when its necessary. I've got my extraction method down to a science and I usually end up with clear-to-white shards of beautiful DMT, so I don't usually have to recrystallize. But every now & then, like this last time, she comes out a bit off white so I give her a cleanup with Hexane. Next time, I'll give your evap method a try I think. Thanks!!
