Wrap it up in some sort of cloth/towel and then give it a bashing with a hammer  You want it too be like shredded like. Id imagine getting it to a powder would be a pain in the ass and would make filtering even a bigger pain.

Chipped FOREVER with a tiny knife at the beginning. Pieces of vine hammered on the stump of a tree works very well.  But hammers for sure... Some things will come easy, some will be a test
