Hello, Sorry if this question has been answered but I cannot get the search feature on this site to work at the moment. SWIM just extracted some mesc and was just curious where he should keep it. Is it fine just in his closet or should he keep it in the fridge or freezer? Thanks!!

I keep mine in a cool dark place in an amber glass vial. I don't think the fridge is necassary as mescaline is quite stable at room temperature, but to be on the safe side, I'd keep it in an air-tight container.

It seems like it requires heat. At room temperature it doesn't seem to happen, at least SWIM never saw it happen. Mescaline salts, at room temperature, are in general supposed to be extremely stable. The freebase will form mescaline carbonate after a while though, even in an air tight container, unless it’s in an inert atmosphere.

Mesc is one !TOUGH! molecule. Evaping mesc/hcl water on hot plate at like 60, 70+ degress C still active, oh fans blowing on top.

If you can keep it in cold place keep it there, but cool and dark is good enough.

fb form carb pretty quickly,
an old tek for dirty carb was just to evap the np, no salting

to keep as fb, store in nitrogen, like wine preservo
