So swim had a jug of sludge sitting around with some naptha or heptane still in it. He put in some D-limo expecting 3 layers,.... mhrb/naptha/dlimo.... is it bad putting d-limo and naptha together? Will it create some sort of unvapable monster?

D Limo and naptha are miscible so you would just get your standard 2 layers - however with the addition of D Limo you will pull more of the jungle alks etc that naptha leaves behind. I don't know if you would just be able to evap the naptha out or whether naptha and D Limo create an azeotrope which would make solvent separation just that bit slightly more difficult.

In theory you could either evap the lot and then use naptha to recover DMT from your alk mix or salt it with Fumaric and start from there (although the naptha might precipitate the fumaric before it has a chance to salt all the DMT).

SWIM just did an extraction - 2 pulls of naphta, followed by two d-lim pulls ... looks like the two solvents have pretty much the same density, so wouldn't have thought they'd separate once mixed. But an imaginary friend told SWIM that d-lim needs to evap, won't freeze precip. So maybe if the sludge went in the freezer first the pure spice would precip, then an evap might throw out some jungle? If the freeze part doesn't work, the evap should throw out jungle spice anyway. But maybe wait for a proper chemist - just guessing here

just mix in a few rounds of 25ml vinegar for 5 minutes in the limonene, then evap and base it. Limonene is a bitch to evap and doesn't really evap clean.

^^ Freeze precip won't work as the DMT is soluble in the freezing d limo. I reckon a full evap would be the easiest answer and the use naptha on the goo to get DMT.
