Gentle yet curious ride. 'What's going to happen?' 'Something wonderful.'

IAmWe-WeAreYou wrote:I usually listen to Carbon Based Lifeforms album Interloper https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CVFscjOsPRABut then I have extremely positive memories from a live performance they did on festival, so I always get in a very emotional mood when I listen to them. Which suits me well before taking off into hyperspace. I once asked a entity if it was ok for them with the music. The answer I got was that whatever I felt was good for me was also good for them. Or should I say, they didn't care about the music they just cared about me. I can't help but associate Interloper with DMT. I get preflight anxiety when listening to both Interloper and TwentyThree by Carbon Based Lifeforms completely sober. They are my go to albums when launching into the unknown Recently I start playing the song Vibrasphere - Ensueno Morning Mix before hitting the bong, then have CBL prepared for when I completely dissolve

Interloper has to be my all time favorite album, the droning guitars in 'Frog' are cosmic! Just incase you haven't heard they remastered the whole album recently, it's really refreshing after hearing the original so many times, i do still enjoy both versions throroughly tho

Music is such a beautiful thing. It is alive and full of energy! I love all kinds and forms of music whether it be playing for fun (guitar, piano, drums etc.) performing live, composing or just sitting down and appreciating it! It is all wonderful! Now, when it comes to DMT and music I have some mixed feelings. On any/all other psychedelics my "go to" music is Pink Floyd, hands down. Those guys were brilliant. If you haven't looked into their solo work as well, you should. David Gilmour is my favorite and his solo albums are just incredible! Anyhow, back to the topic! I found that my favorite type of music while in the DMT realm is pure classical music. I had a riveting experience listening to "Adagio in G Minor" by Albinoni. The normal complexities and visual distortions were synced into the ups, downs, swells, and flourishes of the piece creating an epic sort of "color" to the trip! Lovely! At the same time, I've found that sometimes I will get lost in the music before fully blasting off and sort of forget what I am doing while in a trance like state! Basically it boils down to how I am feeling at the time and if it seems "right" to have music playing. Sometimes silence really is golden! Had a great time with a few other classical pieces and here they are: Moonlight Sonata and/or Fur Elise - Beethoven Arabesque No. 1 - Debussy Gymnopedie No. 1 - Satie Air on a G String - Bach Etude in E Major - Chopin Any piece from these composers (and many more) would provide an interesting experience to say the least! Peace, love, and music, -The Grateful One- New to The Nexus? Check These Out: One Fish Two Fish Red Fish Blue Fish
