yep my solution is pretty black. so your saying my Ph is too high? because I did add an extra 10g lye to the solution. so i should just get a little more water in there so my solvent doesn't grab every bit of whats in the mimosa base solution?

Did you allow the heat reaction to stop after you added the lye to the water? If not, that could have something to do with the plant material in your bestine. You can try a sodium carbonate wash and then heating the bestine/decanting to separate the plant fats from the solvent.

yep. i know ive been looking into buying some.
