Hello my name is dreamoar and I am hopelessly and utterly addicted to nexus. It was a slow and insidious process, I just logged on one day to read some extraction teks and I was hooked just like that. Now I need nexus just to function I can't wake up in the moarning without at least a little glance at the new threads, I get severe withdrawals if I step away for moar than a few minutes and find myself stumbling through my life in a daze always whacked out on thoughts about what I'm missing on nexus. I sell body on the street just to pay my wifi bill and I even surf nexus secretly in inappropriate places like church and school.

but I promise I'll quit tomorrow!

Laughing Laughing Laughing Sounds like me minus the hooking part ...lol
1% of reality is within our plane of existence. What we feel... what we see... what we hear... what we "think" we know... The other 99% percent of reality can only be shown to us through DMT. This 99% lies within the "Realm of the Unknowns". We can only experience FULL reality when we leave this vessel, our bodies. DMT gives us a taste of this full reality... the universal knowledge is given to us by the beings who call "hyperspace" their home. When in hyperspace there is no "self" but instead this self is replaced with pure and raw energy. ENERGY CAN NOT BE DESTROYED, ONLY TRANSFERRED OR TRANSFORMED! So when you have that "ego-death" during a breakthrough trip, don't fret, you are not being destroyed but yet..... YOU ARE BEING TRANSFORMED.

I LOVE YOU, RESPECT YOU AND I THANK YOU... Dimethyltryptamine ... for showing me the 99% of reality that I would never have experienced in everyday life.

Don't OD and die on me!

Seems like some of us are in denial, lol.

This topics is cracking me up so bad. I'm a recovering addict to opiates. Over 1 year clean!! This really turned out well, thanks all for some good ol' rehab humor to brighten this rainy day!

I myself get WD's when I'm away from the Nexus too long. Sometimes I ask strangers if I can use their smartphone to make a call. Then just bolt away while pulling up the browser to search for the Nexus. I just can't seem to get my FIIIX fast enough. Thank goodness for 4G!
I can think of nothing more important for the survival of our species and those we live with then for us all to have access to the psychedelic experience.

Yep, me too. Every morning on the train commute into work I tell myself i'm gonna finish that book or listen to a podcast and that i'm only going to browse the nexus on my smartphone for a few minutes....maybe a few minutes more. I never read that book or listen to those podcasts - the train pulls in and I have spent 40 minutes staring at my tiny screen. My girlfriend has started asking why I haven't bought her any christmas presents yet but in the last couple of weeks have had enough time to collect a turkey baster, two different types of scale, copper scrubber, a kilo of bark, 5 cans of ronsonol, a tub of lye and a torch lighter.

I haven't shut my computer off in weeks. It constantly has 3-5 tabs of the nexus open at any given time + 1 or 2 on my iphone. My computer background is some fractal art I found on this site. I check up on the new posts about every 20-30 minutes while I'm at home, even while I'm playing Call of Duty. I am a nexus addict. I spent less time on one task on the computer when I was a WoW addict.

oh dear me, I was hoping it wouldn't come to this. I think I need help guys...I'm on here all the time...walking to work, checking the Nexus...at work, checking the nexus...watching a movie, gotta check the Nexus...on the toilet, perfect time to check the nexus...annoying friend is blabbing on about nothing... I say, "hold on broseph, I'm getting a phone call from the nexus..."

And when the forum just isn't doing it, I sometimes binge on the chat! I'm an animal and it is sickening! I just can't help it and what is worse it that I feel shameless about it!

So while I'm feeling shameless, I'm going to go ahead and give this thread a shameless bump!

Bumpity bumpity bump!

Laughing

Love

Here are some photos of what addiction looks like:

Edit: that third one may just be a guy with poor eyesight...hehe, oh well whats done is done!

That "error-503-the-service-is-unavailable" message yesterday really freaked me out, I was going into research withdrawal, I attempted posting on other forums, but it's just not the same...

That is funny, and I did the same thing, I was hitting the re-fresh button every 5 minutes on my computer, while trying to find other forums to hold me over on my mobile device.

The nexus is unique from other psychedelic forums in all the best ways, and the last thing I wanted to do was return to the alternitive, I mean, I don't hold anything against the other forums, but they can't compare to the atmosphere and community that is the nexus.

I want to be addicted to the nexus Razz But aside from the welcome area it moves kind of slow in here. The vibes in here are by far my favorite of any drug forum i've been on and the information is always top notch.
