Boards of Canada is always a classic, or Bluetech. both amazing

we assume - so we're played
we confide - so we're deceived
we trust - so we're betrayed

Discovered that new album yesterday by a music project called Akara.

Sounds like a nice mix of etheral rock and psybient with a touch of dubstep.

Enjoy.

A friend of mine makes all sorts of music, this is a ambient-like videoclip he made.
I once uploaded it at his request.

Big thanks for Ishq, Marow and Global Communications! Wow...

I also strongly recommend Kickbong, Shulman and the Psyamb playlists, put forth by PrimalWisdom - perfect for journeying, also a great way of finding new music.

Allow me to add:

Clubroot - All of it is excellent, some tracks a little darker than others but all totally etheral and atmospheric
Clubroot - Waterways

Full albums in exact audio quality are here: Clubroot Full FLAC Albums

The Peaking Goddess Collective - Organika. Looking forward to journeying at some stage to this album
The Peaking Goddess Collective - Secret Fire

Again, full FLAC files can be found here!
The Peaking Goddess Collective - Organika. Full FLAC Album

Keep the good tunes coming! Peace, Love and Happy Travels!

No problem, DosileFlynn! And it's a live recording - this is an album I'm really saving for a special occasion, only listened to it once through and quickly tried to forget it's amazingness so as to not lose the magic Smile

Alot of good stuff posted so far. If you dig Carbon Based Lifeforms check out Solar Fields. Oh yeah and check out all of Shpongle's albums. They are incredibly diverse!

I used to listen to shpongle a lot - I think some of their tracks are amazing. But, I find some songs - and even just parts of songs - really let down their album as a whole. For me, an album must be perfect and work as a whole.

I think 'Are you Shpongled' is their best, Ineffable Mysteries... almost perfect (can't stand I Am You or No Turn Unstoned), Tales of the Inexpressible I find mostly un-listenable but think Dorset Perception is their best song. Guess I'm just hard to please but each to their own!

I've been digging Carbon Based Lifefroms and Sync24 all week - Solar Fields is also incredible stuff.

Digital Mystery Tour - DMT Express
DMT Express FLAC

This is an absolute gem!! This was the first cd I listened to that could be considered psycehdelic/ambient - and that was 2006 and I haven't found anything like this since. Highly recommended.

Heyoka (awesome name btw) seems pretty good, certainly has a really varied sound. Desert Dwellers - very beautiful music, absolutely amazing - thankyou so much. Makyo may need a little more listening to, didn't really grab me straight away. Thanks again.
