I would like to try to smoke without any music playing next time. I didn't get to hear the carrier wave or anything because of the music playing last time. While I loved the way the trip responded to the music, I want to experience the molecule without any interference from outside sounds. And I'm lonesome when you're around I'm never lonesome when I'm by myself. And I miss you when you're around...

I have enjoyed and been captivated the resonant hums and tones of the eternal fabric of hyperspace and will definitely journey in silence again. Recently though I've introduced music to my journey experiences. I was inspired after attending an Aya ceremony where music played an integral role, tuning both set and setting to the required mood/frequencies throughout the ceremony. I have since created a fairly long place list of devotional songs, mantras, Indian classical music, Buddhist/Tibeten chants and soundscapes. Very calming for the most part lots of drones, sitars, tanpura flutes. There are nearly 300 tunes in the playlist that can be played for hours while mentally and physically preparing your set and setting. The list works randomly or complete albums can be selected for a journey. If I had to pick a song that summarises the atmosphere that I've tried to capture with this list then I would pick The Spirit of Kashmir by Shiv Kumar Sharma. https://play.google.com/...hmir_-_Shiv_Kumar_SharmaHere's the link to the list. It's a googleplay playlist apologies if this offends https://play.google.com/...-6ydgKkDSxYL_-My493kVg==Peace Love Light [color=red]Our world is in crisis because of the absence of consciousness. To whatever degree any one of us can bring back a small piece of the picture and contribute it to the building of the new paradigm, then we participate in the redemption of the human spirit. This is really good. Did not know about Icaros so far, thanks Mokushi. And thanks for the Spice flight sham. I overall suggest running music silent, in background, on 1 partition of you are outdoors with headphones, if that makes sense. Remember... 8 is infinity spelled sideways!

I like to stick with the classics. The Grateful Dead doing a nice long 30 minute Dark Star: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bpBR3VpAg3EI contradict myself? Very well, I contradict myself. I am large. I contain multitudes. — Walt Whitman

I have noticed that it is possible to heavily influence the experience with music. Once when I listened to Egyptian meditation music I flew across a great pyramid and Egyptian gods where present. Similar stuff has happened when I used ketamine. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=khNZswe_Lpk

I heard songs that sounded like alien pop music--it was actually really good! Unfortunately, I can't remember the tunes!

Love it!! Thank you! "In the universe there is an immeasurable, indescribable force which shamans call intent, and absolutely everything that exists in the entire cosmos is attached to intent by a connecting link." ~Carlos Castaneda

I'm seriously amazed no one has recommended Tipper yet. His music is incredible trippy and imaginative, the mindscapes that are created with the influence of Tipper's music are breathtaking. Tipper - Cinder ConeTipper - Dead SoonEdit: Some other brilliant people are Carbon Based Lifeforms, Solar Fields, Shpongle, and Ott. Though I'd say Tipper is the best for DMT, whereas CBL and Solar Fields are incredible for say Shrooms or LSD.

I think its maybe personal, I like to listen to various calm traditional cultural music. From my experience. Modern style songs and high beat songs(that I otherwise love) just strangely dont do anything and can be very annoying. However slow beat songs that I like feel amazing to say the least.
If I listen now to some songs -I heard during the trip- I can almost get transported to that beautiful place feeling that is so full of magical love.

Thought this was interesting: Sheryl Crow wrote:"Chances Are"

One of my most profound DMT experiences was the second S.H.E. (if memory serves), with Raag Lalit softly in the background (played by Hariprasad Chaurasia and Anindo Chatterjee). https://youtu.be/AuLSvtR3WFABut after inhaling, the music became completely unrecognizable and shattered, like 'bli-bli-bli-bli-bli-rrrrrrrr-gagagagag. I tried to turn it off but couldn't remember the operations, or even recognize the apparatus. Managed to crawl back to the couch and let 'them' do their blissful work on me. The elves seemed to appreciate the music after all, like it was part of an appropriate welcome along with the Palo Santo and other preparations
