SWIM has snorted dmt fumarate...it still hurts...he snorted 125mg..with minimal effects..the negative effects...much pain...puking...shitting...with a little tiny bit of visuals for 10 minutes...a waste

Yeah for sure DMT in any form isn't really worth snorting. 5meo and bufotenine are much more sufficent for this, but they will still burn some.

Finally a chance to try this tek! I'm now pulling the limonene with the saturated fumaric acid aquous solution..
Is it normal that both layers get milky? Will a longer wait in the sep funnel clear it up?

Maybe... usually the fumaric acid solution picks up a yellow tint and the limonene becomes transparent again.

It's only a test ride with 25 grams of root bark, but that should yield close to 250 mg of freebase jungle(???) spice! If I could get it ready before the 11th that would be great.

The fumarate solution (and probably excess acid) is now evaporating... it's taking its time. This fumarate solution also smells strongly of oranges, wonderful smell by the way!
I like the idea of recycling the limonene. The fumaric acid pulls the DMT from the limonene and then it's ready to pull more from the bark! Of course, at some point a lot of fatty and waxy stuff will be accumulated, and distillation is the only option.
So, tomorrow: desiccation of the acetone, freebasing of the fumarate, extraction of the freebase, filtration, evaporation...
It's starting to sound like alchemy - there is real magic (or at least something beyond incredibly amazing) hidden in those crystals, almost like a real Philosopher's Stone!

Thanks, nice round crystals formations are slowly forming, I hope there's not too much fumaric acid in there. A bit surprising how slow it dries, I don't want to force it though. Maybe because it's been quite cold and damp lately. It won't be ready in time for the SHE tomorrow but I have these large clean crystals, first big toke of these, I'll smoke it while on Rue tea

Small update... the last SHE was no great success for me but the extraction seems to be excellent so far. I dropped my scales so I can't weigh but yield seems to be much better than with naphta.
It's all completely consistent with what was posted here, I hope the same goes for the effects! Waiting for the right moment to do a bio-assay... busy times this week.

I'm at the fumerate drying stage of my 2nd attempt at this extraction.. The stuff is not drying out very well - last time it did not take long for the fumerate to crystalize, but this time it stays slightly sticky, after hours in the dehydrator and left out for half a day. I tried dissolving in water and evaporating again.. seems to have made little difference. I wonder, its ok to just scrape this stuff up and try freebasing as it is... I suspect some limonene got into the FASW. The 3rd and 4th FASW pulls were quite yellow, and smelled of limonene more than the others. I carried on working it on jorkests advice... heated up more, spread out, stuck in the dehydrator a bit more, went back and the scraped stuff had hardened... after working it more it is now hard and dry  balaganist is a fictional character who loves playing the game of infinite existence. he amuses himself by posting stories about his made up life in our plane of physical reality. his origins are in other dimensions... he merely comes here to play.

one thing that SWIM loves about this tek is how things are always kinda up in the air until its all done...id say there are just little variables..such as humidity and temperature that could throw everything off slightly...winter time has always been best for extractions for SWIM

I used around 160gm root bark, and ended up with 4.3g fumerate !! At a guess thats around 3g DMT .. not bad!! I decided to split the freebase+sodium carbonate mix in two, so I can try half using warrensaged's alteration to the tek using Naptha to obtain pure dmt. Great yield, limo is so much better at pulling from the bark than naphta!
I don't think it's necessary for the fumarate to dry completely because it's getting wet again by the freebasing anyway. Good luck!
