Need help interpreting DMT experience Options

Hello everyone,

I have recently got into DMT about a week ago. I've had 4 very intense experiences but not sure if this is considered a breakthrough.

Smoking method:
-Amount used each time 40mg blend of white and yellow spice (dream sand)
-First two times using volcano vaporizer, putting spice on prevaped oregano
-Last two times using Yocan Evolve vape pen with ceramic donut

First two experience:
One the comedown of a 300 mic LSD trip maybe about 5-6 hours in. Mind blowing experience, was in this room with intense geometry, intense euphoria, felt deeply connected with the universe. About an hour later did the same dose again, same experience, but this time i felt an uneasy sensation after..pebbles in my mouth and my tongue dissolving...a bit disturbing.

Third time, pretty much the same thing on the comedown of 300 mic trip. Almost the same feel , similar room with geometry just green this time instead of reddish purple.

Last time, no LSD just completely sober before. This time it was like i was sitting in a theatre and watching a screen with rapidly changing flashing colors and shapes, very intense, felt like it lasted a lot longer.

Each time I was completely taken away from the place I was initially in and taken away from my body. I would come out of it forgetting I was even in that room to begin with. However I just expected something more meaningful. Maybe contact with other entities or deep realizations about things like I do on shrooms. Am I doing something wrong? Are there not breakthroughs? Am I not doing enough?

Sometimes the urge to complete, understand and move on stops us from truly enjoying the unfathomable.

I would suggest our paths were somewhat similar in the sense that the experiences that led us to the point of trying DMT were mostly reconcilable.

Then I smoked DMT and struggled to find the same relatability....

Was it enjoyable?
Will it really matter if can not make sense of it?

In time perhaps merely and understanding of the fact that you don't may be the lesson you needed to learn.

Nothing you are doing is wrong...except for thinking that.

What is an insight anyway?
How is it measured?
How is it tested?
How is is used?

Expectations should be tossed right out the window! I don't feel comparing experiences does any good. Take each experience as unique and do what you can to grab pieces of them.

There is no wrong. Only failing expectations I feel in your case. Breakthrough is just another expectation.

If you want contact with entities then start thinking about that. Don't set up an expectation as I mentioned, but try and imagine what these interactions would be like for you. I think you will find that you may have a difficult time imagining such an interaction. It isn't like you may think at all. You may even have already been in contact with an entity and just don't remember it or didn't notice.

There is an old saying that when the student is ready, the teacher appears.

Thanks for the replies everyone. I felt I was doing something wrong by trying to compare my experience with others and feeling like I was missing something. I now understand that everyone will experience different things and it's not necessarily something I did wrong. I am thankful to have gotten these amazing experiences, I just struggled to understand the meaning of it if there was any at all.

All I can say to anyone out there...if you haven't tried LSDMT...amazing combination. I will be trying it on the comedown of a shroom trip. Shrooms have always given me something very insightful and i think it will be that thing that will guide the DMT along a different path. In a way im thankful I havnt met any entities...I've heard there are some evil beasts out there!

Haha I will try moving up to 50mg...both terrence mckenna and a guy on youtube called Psyched Substance both said when it feels super intense, that's when you go for one last hit. If i can stay in my body long enough to take that one last hit I'll give it a shot.

For example on my 4g shroom trip, my fears about death were almost laid to rest (rip). I truly felt I was in another world beyond our physical dimension and saw other beings. I was alone in on my bed but I didn't feel alone for a second. It was my first ego death experience but it made me believe that this life on earth is just one of endless journeys our souls will take. I left that world with so much positivity.

My 5g shroom trip kinda just kicked my ass and threw everything bad about my life right in front of my face and I said I never wanted to do shrooms again until I realized I needed to see what I saw.

If insights are quantified and qualified by emotions are they really insights or rather emotional states we correlate with beliefs?

How are they tested?
What is their use?
How can their veracity be measured or proven?

Truth cannot be evidenced by emotion. Many people feel something is true which isn't, particularly with psychedelics which are notorious for this. How does one discern which insights are true and which merely feel true?

I've never done Oregano/Spice combo in the Volcano, I just use the liquid pad that the Volcano came with & just spice.

Such a fantastic way to go off, bringing the captured hyperspace cloud to a warm bed, in a dark & quiet room... I get a lot of anxiety from having a flame torch / Vapor Genie around as i breakthrough but manage with great mindfulness.

After that.. anything can happen. Twisted Evil

I didn't have a liquid pad but I'm sure it would have worked just as well either way.

Volcano is a more foolproof method. It's just so easy and consistent every time. And you're right, it's amazing to bring a bag full of vaped DMT ready to inhale in a bag. All you have to conencreate on is breath in, hold, breathe out. And you know you're done when that bag is empty.

But once you get used to the Yocan Evolve, it's better to me. You can get bigger hits and its easier to load/carry around. You should try it out if you ever do it on the go (friend's house, hotel, airbnb, etc). its only like 35USD with the ceramic donut.

Yes, I am guilty of this for sure. I understand the journey is always up for interpretation and isn't necessarily what is presented but damn, doesn't it ever feel so real and true. Is it really some special place, some special dimension we are connected with? Or is just one big mind fuck in a place that doesn't exist other than inside our own heads.
