My first extraction was derived from 250g of acacia confusa. I performed an A/B using vinegar, lye, and naphtha. 4 times I boiled a volume of 900ml distilled water, and 100ml distilled white vinegar for a period of one hour and 45 minutes. 600ml of solution remained after extensive filtering and reduction. I used 250ml naphtha to perform 4 pulls. The first pull was freeze precipitated for 6 hours, filtered and sat back at room temperature for 48 hours. After 48 hours at room temperature, I decanted, filtered, and reused the naphtha for 3 subsequent pulls. Below you'll find photos of the first pull, after initial freeze precipitation, and fall out at room temperature for 48 hours, and I will post pics of everything else this evening, both here, and in a new post with questions... Thanks for the resources you all provide, and I look forward to being a part of this refreshing community. It's shavings of crystals that didn't fall apart... potent from what I can tell lol... the clear crystals were carefully flaked off the face of the white strips before scraping

Cactus Man wrote:you nailed it! I appreciate the vote of confidence! Just brewed my first ayahuasca for tomorrow, reduced both caapi and mimosa down to about a shot... smudged the house, and a close friend of mine is spending the night to meditate and initiate dialogue with the plant spirits... I'm not particularly deep into shamanism, being an atheist for years... tryptamines have given me new found faith in the mystical, and I figure it best to stick to established pathways for starters.
