Dealing with nausea Options

Greetings!

When I eat MG seeds or mushrooms I allways have nausea and stomach discomfort that interferes with my trip. I read that there are plenty of ways to deal with it, like eating fresh ginger right before consumption, smoking MJ when it occurs or eating food rich in pectin like applesauce.

So, my question is which method do You prefer and why? If You eat fresh ginger than how on earth do You do it? Very happy It has so god damn strong, burning taste!

Mushrooms are my absolute favorite! and i almost never experience nausea when i add lemon juice together with the mushrooms and then take the tea off the heat and just let it sit for 15 minutes.

if doing high doses you might want to use half a liter of water per person, but if you're bothered by the nausea too much 1 cup will suffice, but i find that if you can handle it comfy half a liter is better.

the lemon juice is very important.

also i just love to smoke if there is any sign of nausea it melts away into goodness after the first puffs (pure weed joints are the best! tobacco contracts your bloodcells so it makes you less high)

There are different types of nausea. If you have a sensitive stomach, using the lemon tek as deathsanus suggested is a good idea, because it removes the need of swallowing the fungi, which is hard to digest and may upset your stomach.

The other reason for nausea is the 5ht3 receptor action going on. You might find this Thread interesting.

Candied ginger works for me

The trick with lemon essential oil seems promising. I must try it next time I'll be doing something.

Candied ginger aka crystalized ginger is great!

You can buy it in some health food stores or online. You can also make it very easily.

It's as simple as boiling chunks of peeled ginger in water, wait until you can easy slide a knife into the pieces, add the same weight of the ginger in sugar, boil off the water till the pieces are rolling in sticky melted sugar, then roll each piece in a small bowl of sugar.

They will stiffen up and I believe they can be stored for quite some time.

I love the stuff.

I always keep a big ol' bag of those "Gin Gin" giner candies on hand, they seem to work very well for entheogen-induced nausea. Sometimes I'll also make capsules containing powdered ginger and fruit pectin and keep those on hand. Also very effective! Thumbs up

One thing should be noted though....puking up ginger root isn't the most pleasant thing on earth.

Yesterday I did the trick with lemon oil. I added 5 drops to my mushroom lemon tea and I had no nausea/stomach ache at all. I'm impressed!
