I'd be interested to see. I don't so much want to
discard the NMT, as I want to separate the NMT.
It does seem, from reading, that NMT is only partially soluble in Naptha, which makes me wonder if heptane would be even more selective. Perhaps NMT falls out quicker and greater proportion?
Nen888 also mentioned that NMT is only partially soluble as a acetic acid salt in water, which is interesting. I've only used citric acid during the acid boil, and perhaps an alternate acid would change things. And perhaps a acidifying a freebase with a hot acetic acid solution, decanting the liquid, and basifying that could somewhat separate things?
