I've heard this term mentioned a few times for the freeze precip. stage of extraction. but what is it? When I freeze precip. I get either tiny white crystals sticking like glue to the walls of the jar, or bigger beige crystals lying on the bottom. But something as big and wonderous as a globe of snow? never yet.

Thanks gibran 2, Lol, I get it now! ( was thinking too linear about it, and failed to see the analogy involved)

The reply made me chuckle! Good work
Yeah you're seeing the snow globes as the white, glue-droplet-like crystals. I'm just kinda starting out and wondered if what I was seeing, were indeed the 'correct' snow globes too. Reassuring. Nothing said on behalf of "DieM" is true

Could use it as one though!
Drill 1/4" hole in top, stuff in some copper wool, turn upside down to drain and catch snow, drill small hole in side or top (fit pipe if desired).. and viola! Happy Christmas! Nothing said on behalf of "DieM" is true
