Hello Nyogtha,
first of all, you may want to use the Search function and you will find a lot of threads with information about growing the plant.
In the upcoming #1 of The Nexian e-zine -and hoping it does not get delayed- there's going to be a piece compiling some of the basics of the research done in propagating Black Jurema, AKA Mimosa Tenuiflora, AKA Mimosa Hostilis.
I cannot copy here the text, but to answer basically some of your questions...
Quote:how much it takes to grow to the point when it'll be ready for extraction?
The plant seems to produce alkaloids from the get go (they don't occur only in the root bark, even if that's the part showing higher concentrations), but in order to make a decent amount of roots/stem bark harvestable without killing the plant, it would take at least a couple years in ideal growing conditions, preferably more. Even if you didn't want to harvest it sustainably, the plant needs time to develop hardy barks.
Quote:I've red somewhere that I can make it faster by putting the seed into a boiling water and let it soak it so the germination will be faster and that it shouldn't be exposed to direct sunlight, what earth does it need and how much water?
Simply nick the seeds and soak them overnight, most of them will germinate easily. Light does not seem to affect germination, but a lot of direct sunlight will dry germinating seeds and can burn seedlings.
Use soil with good draining and don't water them too much, keep the soil moist when the seedlings develop and when the plant grows let the soil dry a little bit before watering again.
It can be started very well indoors... again, search and you will find.
And welcome to the Nexus.
